Duo Bio

 Although solo artists in their own right, Atlin (piano and vocals) and Daniel( guitar and vocals) have also been weaving magic as a collaborative duo, their two voices a rare and beautiful blend and their different musical writing styles adding variety to their sets, while at the same time feeling cohesive.

Although folk is the closest genre to describing their music, their sound is more varied, with hints of country, jazz, cinematic ballad, blues and indie music. Both Atlin and Daniel write songs that the duo plays but they also collaborate on writing and arranging. The result is a unique sound full of beautiful harmonies, evocative soundscapes and storytelling, often performed with a virtuosic flair. They have enjoyed playing together for nearly two years at various outdoor festivals such as Car Free YVR and Musart Cates Park Concert Series as well as shows at venues like Second Floor Gastown.

The duo have also been playing for the last year with Westcoast virtuosic fiddle player, Maya Eliza, in their trio, Ask The Wind, selling out shows all over the lower mainland. Their Farewell show is April 12th at the Anne Macdonald Studio in North Vancouver, as Maya is moving away. 

Daniel and Atlin are strong members of the Vancouver open mic and music community where they met. They both find it inspiring to be part of such a vibrant musical scene. 

They are each making a name for themselves as solid performers with unique talent that leave the audience wanting more.
